Full-time staff
Article 12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Services Regulation requires, for a unit to be established and to provide services, the employment under a full-time contract of at least one workplace physician, one occupational safety specialist and one other health personnel. The same article states that those assigned full time cannot take a role in another unit or workplace.
Premises and equipment
The same article requires premises of a minimum size sufficient for the service and the number of staff. The layout and equipment of the sections are defined in the regulation; an address on paper is not enough.
The application file
Article 14 lists the annexes: employment contracts or assignment documents for those assigned full time together with their certificates, an undertaking to work full time where the person is an owner or partner, the responsible manager's assignment letter bearing their acceptance, and documents for the premises.
Issue of the certificate
Where the conditions are met, following receipt by the Directorate General of the social security entry notifications for the full-time staff declared in the file, the authorisation certificate is issued within ten working days at the latest, exclusively for the address and title declared.
In Optifora
The organisation record keeps staff, certificates, premises conditions and the validity of the authorisation together; a missing condition becomes a task and the renewal date is reminded.
