Where a law publishes a matrix, the amount is read from the cell where workplace size meets hazard class; where it does not, the base amount applies. Items marked per employee are multiplied by the employee count.
Where a cell holds three figures they are, in order, the amounts for less hazardous / hazardous / highly hazardous workplaces. Shown for information.

Legal basis — Türkiye
| Obligation | Legal basis | How the tool covers it |

| An administrative fine at the base amount written in the article is imposed on an employer who fails to meet the duties listed there, separately for each duty and each breach. | Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, Art. 26(1) | The breach and base amount columns of the result; the figures are read from the published penalty tables and no number is embedded in the page. |
| The fines are applied at the same amount for the low-hazard class, increased by twenty-five per cent for the hazardous class and by fifty per cent for the very hazardous class, in workplaces with fewer than ten workers. | Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, Art. 26(3)(a) | The headcount and hazard class inputs and the multiplier column of the result; the band indicator changes with the headcount entered. |
| In workplaces with ten to forty-nine workers the fine is applied at the same amount for the low-hazard class, increased by fifty per cent for the hazardous class and by one hundred per cent for the very hazardous class; in workplaces with fifty or more workers it is increased by fifty, one hundred and two hundred per cent respectively. | Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, Art. 26(3)(b) and 26(3)(c) | The multiplier and amount columns of the result table; where the law publishes a matrix the amount is read from the cell where workplace size meets hazard class. |
| Paragraph 3 does not apply to fines imposed by multiplying by the number of workers; where work is stopped, the fine for the act that caused the stoppage is not imposed. | Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, Art. 26(4) and 26(5) | The note under the result: items marked per worker are multiplied by the headcount and the matrix multiplier is not applied. |
The Turkish table comes from Article 26 of Law No. 6331: paragraph 1 gives the base amount, paragraph 3 the increase by workplace size and hazard class, and paragraph 5 the exception for items multiplied by the number of workers.

In Great Britain the amount is not fixed to a table: the offence is first sorted by the mode of trial and the maximum imprisonment and fine follow from that.

| A civil penalty may be assessed for each wilful or repeated violation; a penalty is assessed for each serious violation and each violation determined not to be serious, and for each day a violation continues uncorrected. | OSH Act, 29 U.S.C. 666(a)-(d) | The breach column of the penalty item list; on the United States side the item is the violation type. |

In the United States the amount does not depend on the size of the workplace or the hazard class: a ceiling is set per type of violation and adjusted for inflation every January.
