Digitalisation gain calculator
This calculation measures what OHS management costs you today: lost working days, the time that goes into keeping records, and the penalties paid. It then shows the annual net gain and payback under an improvement assumption you set yourself.
None of the percentages here is a promise from Optifora. The inputs are your numbers, you choose the improvement rate, and the calculation runs in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
1. Organisation
This is the base every cost is built on. The currency changes the symbol only; no exchange rate is applied.
Used to estimate accident numbers from the national average if you do not know yours.
Gross pay plus employer contributions. If you do not know it, divide the monthly total cost by monthly working hours.
2. Accidents and lost days
Lost working days are the most visible and most easily measured cost in OHS.
Expected accidents at the national average: - (-) — This figure is an ESTIMATE derived from a measured national average, not your own record.
We hold no measured rate for this country; enter the accident count yourself.
Treatment, damage, cover staff, legal costs. Leave it empty if you do not know — no invented multiplier is added.
3. Record-keeping burden
This is what digitalisation touches directly: not the record itself, but the time that goes into producing it.
4. Penalties and nonconformity
Enter what you actually paid last year. If you paid nothing, leave it at zero — no probable-penalty figure is invented.
5. Improvement assumption
These two percentages are YOUR assumption. They are kept apart for a reason: record-keeping burden is affected directly by digitalisation, accidents and penalties only indirectly — giving both the same rate flatters the result.

Result
With these numbers today's cost comes out as zero. Fill in at least one of accidents, record-keeping burden or penalties.
Annual cost today
| Item | Annual amount |

| Lost days and accident cost | - |
| Record-keeping time | - |
| Penalties paid | - |
| Total | - |
Under this assumption the budget does not pay for itself
What this calculation does not cover
It adds up only the three items that can be measured in money: lost working days, record-keeping time and penalties paid. Reputational damage, work stoppage, higher insurance premiums, criminal proceedings, staff turnover and business lost at a customer audit are NOT in this table — they are often larger, but they cannot be calculated without your own figures. The result is neither an offer nor a commitment; it is an estimate you made with your own data.
The numbers you enter never leave your browser; nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored.
