Employee surveys and voting: turning the view from the floor into a record
The planned scope of this module is to run the surveys and votes an organisation puts to its own employees inside the portal. The visitor surveys and the community vote on this site are separate from it.
This page is for organisations that want to ask their own employees questions on a regular basis, and for their OHS professionals.
What it covers
The headings below describe the target scope of the module; they do not describe a screen you can open today.
- Question setThe organisation writes its own questions; the type and the order of the questions belong to the record.
- AudienceWhich unit, site or role the survey opens to is chosen on the record.
- PeriodThe opening and closing time of the survey is set; the record closes at the end of the period.
- Short voteSingle question votes are planned as a separate format from the long survey.
- Result viewCollected answers are read with a breakdown by unit and by period.
- Link to recordsA survey result can be bound to a board agenda or to an action record.
How it connects
The employee survey is separate from the survey surface already on this site; the two sit side by side without mixing.
- Surveys on this siteThe survey page open to visitors; a different surface from the employee survey.
- CommunityThe page where visitor opinion is collected.
- Automated reportingTurning collected answers into a report is planned together with that section.
- What is a leading indicatorA short answer on why items such as survey participation count as leading indicators.
What this page states and does not state
Matters such as secret balloting, participation thresholds and who the result is shared with are still being settled as the scope work continues. This page makes no commitment on them.
