Integrations: the portal's data exchange with the outside
OHS records usually make sense together with data held in other systems. The planned scope of this module is to bring the portal's data exchange with outside systems into a single order.
This page is for organisations and technical teams who want to use OHS records alongside their own systems.
What it covers
The headings below describe the target scope of the module; they do not describe a screen you can open today.
- Connection recordEvery outside connection gets its own record; what data moves in each direction is written on it.
- Switchable operationEvery integration can be turned on and off; while it is off the same work is carried out by hand and the record is still kept.
- Identity and permissionThe permission a connection runs under is set on the record.
- Transaction logEvery transaction sent and received is recorded; the outcome is read from that log.
- Public reporting endpointsNotifications to public bodies are planned as a separate heading.
- Connecting from your own systemThe interface used to connect to the portal from your own software is described on its own page.
How it connects
The integrations heading is read together with the interface and public sector surfaces on this site.
What this page states and does not state
This page does not name the systems to be connected and does not promise a ready list of connections. Every connection is assessed separately, under the other side's own terms.
Tell us which of your systems it needs to talk to
Which data moves in which direction defines the scope. Write what you expect and we will take it into planning.
