What it contains
The training programme, the health surveillance schedule, periodic inspections, measurements, drills, committee meetings, site inspections and review of the risk assessment. Each item enters with its date and owner.
Who prepares it
The plan is prepared jointly by the safety specialist and the workplace physician and comes into force with the employer's approval. A plan prepared by one alone does not see the other's work.
Realism
A plan that piles the whole year into December cannot be carried out. Items are spread through the year and placed so they do not clash with the production calendar.
At year end
The plan is compared with the annual evaluation report: what did we plan, what did we do, why was there a deviation. The reason for the deviation becomes an input to next year's plan.
In Optifora
Planned items come from the modules' own calendars; completion is written back automatically and the year-end comparison comes out ready.
