These figures are read from the 2025 package of SGK Yearly Statistics. Reports are published separately for two insurance schemes: 4/a covers employees under a service contract, 4/b covers the self-employed.

That is an average of 2,100 accidents and 5 deaths per day. The counts cover reported events only; anything not reported never enters the statistics.
Distribution by month
Scheme 4/a accidents peak in summer. July is the highest month with 80,793 accidents, March the lowest with 51,764. August is the deadliest month with 188 deaths, followed by July with 187. The published frequency rates point the same way across four-month blocks: 13.39 for January-April, 17.19 for May-August, 15.59 for September-December.
Distribution by province
İstanbul reported 163,939 accidents under 4/a, that is 21.4% of the country total. İzmir follows with 58,407, Ankara with 57,456, Antalya with 54,305 and Kocaeli with 45,634. The province table is published with all 83 rows; it is not a shortened list.
Workplace size decides the death toll
Workplaces with fewer than 50 employees carry 23.5% of 4/a accidents (179,680) but 55.6% of the deaths (1,074). Fatal accidents concentrate in small workplaces: workplaces with 1-3 employees record 159 deaths in 11,474 accidents, while workplaces with 1,000 or more employees record 116 deaths in 119,465 accidents.

Do not hide the unit difference when comparing: SGK publishes the frequency rate per one million working hours, ILOSTAT and Eurostat publish rates per 100,000 workers, and US figures (BLS) are per 100 full-time workers. Two numbers in the same sentence that carry different units will mislead the reader.
